What is Multiple Intelligence (MI) Theory about?

Multiple Intelligence Theory is an influential teaching-learning approach. Howard Gardner´s Frames of Mind (1983) challenged the limited concept of intelligence by proposing that intelligence falls into eight different ares:

  • the intrapersonal intelligence
  • the interpersonal intelligence
  • the logical-mathematical intelligence
  • the linguistic intelligence
  • the musical intelligence
  • the spatial intelligence
  • the kinaesthetic bodiliy intelligence
  • the naturalistic intelligence

This blog provides you with a choice of activities to enable you to invite your students to use their strongest intelligences as well as develop the weaker ones. In this way, the learning process will be dynamically enhanced.

The following link describes this wonderful theory in detail.
