The Simpsons - Two families who help us to mix up intelligences

The teacher makes students listen to a part of a soundtrack which is very famous because it belongs to the TV programme “The Simpsons”. Students guess and talk about their likes and dislikes in relation to this cartoon. They can talk about some episodes. The teacher can control them in order to prevent them from using taboo words.
Stuendes predict what is happening in the video. The teacher shows them the following video. Students watch it and remember all the actions. Then they have to put the actions in order in the board.

Then the teacher shows another video with real images and students find differences. They write them down in groups of three. Then they correct them by interchanging the pieces of sheet.

Finally, students write in different groups the Simpsons routine. To correct, some students can draw the various actions while others can mime them.
Students also colour the following image.

Extra activity: depending on the topic to be learnt, the students can play roles as if they were Bart, Lisa, Homer, Maggie or Marge.
